2MW 1600A Solar PV G99 Distribution Panels & Feeder Panels
We have just recently completed a bespoke package for one of our long term clients that provided them with a pair of 1600A PV G99 Distribution Panels and also a pair of 1600A MCCB Feeder Panels to facilitate the sites connection to the BusBar’s in the sites LV Panel Board. Our Panels also housed the G99 Relay’s.
Along with the large scale installation came an additional challenger where the customer needed to connect either 3 x 300mm² cables per phase or 2 x 400mm² cables which on the 1600A Switchgear as standard will not fit! We also incorporated in to the design some bespoke made Terminal Extensions as you will see from the above pictures which again were all manufactured in house for the customer meaning when they go to install there will be no issues terminating the large cables to the Panels.
Each PV G99 Distribution Panel was a 1600A Panel that had 8 x 200A MCCB Outgoing Ways for the Inverter Connections. Each MCCB had a pair of Status Indicator Lamps on the door so that a faulty MCCB or Inverter can be identified quickly inside our Panel. An Emergency Stop Button also mounted to the front Door to enable a quick shut down should the need arise! Not forgetting our Door Mounted MID Approved Total Generation Meter c/w 1600/5 CT’s in each panel.
When it came to delivery we had these transported to the customers site via a Same Day Courier with a High-Abb so the panels whcih weighed in at over 400KG each could be lifted in to place for the customer as required.
